Elena Fedyashina -- Executive Director of the Committee of 20, an association of the most successful Russian businesswomen, whose mission is to help women-leaders increase their success and be recognized as an influential power in the economic development of the country.
At present she also coordinates the launch of the new Network "Leadership without Boundaries" bringing together top-corporate women.
Ms. Fedyashina initiated and implemented numerous highly successful projects aimed at providing Russian business women with opportunities to learn best practices, develop their skills and expand their business and personal links.
Being involved in the international business associations since 1995 she has instituted and directed such major projects as
The First and Second Russia -- US Women Business Leaders' Summits held in April 2002 and May 2004 in Moscow; International Conference for Women in Banking and Finance (2008); International Forums "Female Leadership Without Boundaries" (2009,2010)
Mentoring Program for growing women entrepreneurs from the regions of Russia;
Mentoring Program for top corporate women;
Women Business Exchange Program;
Monthly meetings for women in business and professionals (with more than 250 regular attendees);

Ms. Fedyashina is active in the international women's movement, attending, moderating and speaking at major conferences that have included Business Women's Network Summits in Washington DC; Vital Voices' Forums in Reykjavik and Kiev (Ukraine)(2007); Business Conference in Spain; 10th and 12th APEC Meetings of Women Leaders in South Korea and Australia (2005, 2007); the Women's Forum in Deauville (France)(2007, 2008); World Forums of The International Alliance of Women (2006, 2007,2008,2009); Global Summits of Women (2008,2010), Uniglobal Research Conference (London, UK 2008); Center for Corporate Diversity (Norway, 2009); lecturing at Simmons Business School ( USA, 2009), etc.
She has numerous publications in the international press dedicated to women entrepreneurship and leadership.
Professional background: University lecturer; business consultant and trainer with expertise in linguistics, psychology, effective communications and cross-cultural studies; leadership (with focus on women leadership); business development and valuation; time management.
Worked as consultant and interpreter for the World Bank (1994-1999) being involved in organization and supervision of 34 seminars conducted by the Economic Development Institute. She is certified in Real Estate Appraisal and Business Development and Valuation.

Dr. Patrice Braun

Lecturer brief history
Dr Patrice Braun has a PhD in regional network innovation underpinned by information and communication technologies (ICT). She also holds a Masters by Research on the use of the Internet for environmental community informatics. Her work focuses on mainstreaming and strengthening women in the knowledge economy, in both developed and developing economies, with an emphasis on ICT-enabled skills development, green entrepreneurship and sustainable development practices.
Patrice holds the position of Deputy Director and a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Regional Innovation & Competitiveness (CRIC) at the University of Ballarat. She is also spearheading the development of an Asia-Pacific Centre for Women & Technology, one of ten globally networked centres to mainstream women in the knowledge economy. Prior to joining the University of Ballarat, Patrice held positions at Swinburne University of Technology and James Cook University as an Educational Development Adviser designing flexible ICT-based learning solutions for industry and academia. Patrice is an action researcher. Her research and consultancy philosophy is to work with rather than on people towards shared and action-oriented outcomes. She has collaborated with government and industry, both in Australia and abroad, on research, policy development, eLearning strategies for industry innovation, and small business skills development.
Patrice is a regular speaker as APEC forums and was the Australian Focal Point for a 5-year APEC-wide project (2005-2009) on Women's Participation in the Knowledge Economy. She is on the Steering Committee of the International Taskforce for Women and Technology (ITF); a regional champion for the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development (UNGAID); a consulting expert with the UK-based Centre for Women's Enterprise & Employment; on the Advisory Board of the Latin American Centre for Women & Technology and the National Education & Employment Foundation; and a Fellow of AMI Education Academic Panel.
