The General Meeting of Male Leaders was held in March 2019 in order to promote further activities based on the "Declaration on Action by a Group of Male Leaders who will Create a Society in which Women Shine." [PDF:92KB]

26 Leaders attended, shared efforts and actions and discussed challenges in their organization.
About 80 senior managers also attended the meeting and observed the discussion.

Ms. Satsuki KATAYAMA, Minister in charge of Women's Empowerment and Gender Equality joined the meeting and made a speech on the importance of women's empowerment and her hope for broadening the network and promoting actions.

The number of Male Leaders who support the Declaration is about 230 as of February 2019.
